Mordechai Becher

Rabbi Mordechai Becher, originally from Australia, is senior lecturer of the Gateways Organization and an instructor at Yeshiva University. He received his Ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and his MA in Medieval Jewish History from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Yeshiva University, where he is currently pursuing doctoral studies. Rabbi Becher served in the IDF, has answered thousands of questions on AsktheRabbi and presents a Talmud class on the Jewish Broadcasting Service. Rabbi Becher’s latest book, Gateway to Judaism, is in its ninth printing. He has taught in the USA, Canada, England, Israel, South Africa, Australia and Russia, and has conducted tours in Africa, Australia, China, Europe, Israel and Russia.

Raizi Chechik

Raizi Chechik is a Principal at the Stella K Abraham High School in Hewlett, New York. She studied Tanach and Counseling at the Michlala Jerusalem Teachers College, holds an MA in Medieval Jewish History, and did doctoral work at the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education. As a veteran educator, Raizi has developed curricular materials, and is the recipient of numerous awards and honours including the national Grinspoon Award for Excellence in Jewish Education.

Rabbi Shimshon Silkin

Rabbi Shimshon Silkin, Director of the national education organisation Klal-Chazon, has been teaching and lecturing internationally for over 18 years. He is formerly Rav of Beis Yisrael Congregation in Elstree-Borehamwood and the Borehamwood United Synagogue, during which time he also worked as Regional Director and Lecturer for Seed UK.  Rabbi Silkin learned in Yeshivas Shaarei Torah, Manchester, and Mir, Jerusalem, He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, Rabbi Silkin spent six years working in the USA, as Director of Education at Plano, Texas where he also presented a national radio programme. Rabbi Silkin teaches Jewish Philosophy at several high schools throughout London.

Nili Couzens

Nili Couzens is a trip leader for Momentum (JWRP), an organisation which has over the years brought more than 15.000 women to Israel.  She was also the founding director of JLS, in Philadelphia, who spearheaded Jewish women's education initiatives for over 17 years. Nili is a sought after speaker who has spoken in countless cities and universities throughout the world. Nili currently lives in Jerusalem with her husband and children.
